🌸 Our Story
The Pink Parasol Tea Room began with a dream to create a place where time slows down, conversations bloom, and every guest feels at home. What started in 2013 as Curvy Chick Boutique has grown and transformed into something even more heartfelt—a tea room built on community, connection, and a love for simple joys.
After a decade of retail, I followed my heart and opened The Pink Parasol Tea Room, a space where stories are shared over teapots, laughter echoes between friends, and small moments become cherished memories. Our mission is simple: to bring people together in an atmosphere that’s whimsical, welcoming, and unforgettable.

At The Pink Parasol Tea Room, we serve more than tea—we create experiences.
✨ Tea Service – A carefully curated selection of teas, including our own in-house brand, Smashing Tea, paired with delightful treats and house-made syrups.
✨ Private Bookings & Events – From bridal showers and birthday parties to cozy get-togethers, we love helping you celebrate life’s special moments.
✨ Workshops & Experiences – Creative, seasonal events designed to inspire, connect, and spark joy—everything from craft afternoons to themed tea parties.
✨ Mobile Tea Trailer – Our mobile tea truck, brings a taste of our experience to markets, festivals, and private events across Northwestern Ontario.
Why We’re Open Only on Thursdays
You may notice our tea room doors open just once a week—every Thursday. This is intentional. By opening one day, we’re able to keep the experience special, prepare with care, and focus on hosting unforgettable private events throughout the rest of the week.
This balance allows us to pour our hearts into everything we do, from blending teas and making our syrups in-house to curating each event with thought and creativity. When you visit on Thursdays, you’re stepping into something that’s been prepared with love and intention just for you.
